Uptown Ink is a professional tattoo and body piercing studio that offers a wide range of body art services. Our experienced artists are dedicated to providing high-quality work in a friendly, safe, and clean environment.

We are By Appointment Only, generally open Tuesday- Saturday. We are closed Sundays and Mondays, but may take the time to come in for appointments on these days At Our Artists' Discretion. 

We always recommend that you Book an Appointment in advance. Appointments take priority over walk-ins. We will do our best to accept and accommodate walk-ins on a first come, first serve basis.

We offer a wide range of tattoo styles, including traditional, flash, realism, surrealism, cartoon, illustrative, black and grey, linework, full color, and more. Our artists are happy to work with you to create a custom design that meets your individual preferences and needs.

Yes, to book a tattoo appointment with one of our artists requires a $60.00 (sixty dollar) non-refundable deposit. This deposit secures your booking on our schedule, and is good towards the overall price of your tattoo quoted by your artist. Deposits are not refunded. 

Yes. Our Minimum pricing for a tattoo is $60.00 (sixty dollars). This includes our set up costs. Prices go up from there and vary depending on: overall tattoo size, complexity of the tattoo, if the tattoo is grayscale or includes color, amount of ink saturation, and where the tattoo is located (body placement). 

All of our piercings are $50.00 (fifty dollars) per piercing. This price includes the pre-sterilized jewelry. Our piercing technician may offer discounted piercings if the same person is getting more than one (1) piercing at a time. 

18+. Bring identification (Driver's license). 

We do NOT give minors brand new tattoos. 

**Tennessee State Law regarding the tattooing of Minors: T.C.A. 62-38-211.  (c) (1) With the written consent of the parent or legal guardian, a minor sixteen (16) years of age or older may be tattooed to cover up an existing tattoo. A parent or legal guardian must present proof of guardianship or custody of the minor, an acknowledgement of receipt of a report provided pursuant to subdivision (b)(2), and must be present during the procedure.  (2) For purposes of subdivision (c)(1), "proof of guardianship or custody" includes a copy of an order of guardianship, a decree for custody, a birth certificate or any other form of proof of guardianship or custody that is permitted by rule of the department of health. 

18+. Bring identification (Driver's license). 

We do NOT pierce babies or kids. 

You must be at least 13 years old with parental consent to get pierced. Parent must be present for the entire procedure with their identification (Driver's License) and proof of guardianship of the minor child, such as the minor child's Birth Certificate. 

No. We also do not do "Snake Eyes" (tip of the tongue) or genital piercings.

We do NOT accept Checks.

We DO accept Credit or Debit Cards, CashApp or PayPal payments for an additional transaction fee, which will be added to the overall price of your tattoo and will vary in cost depending on the price of your tattoo.
